Attendance & Punctuality
- Learners must attend at least 80% of scheduled classes to qualify for certification.
- Absenteeism without valid reason may lead to disciplinary action.
Assessment & Certification
- Continuous assessment through theory, practicals, and projects.
- Final exams conducted internally or via KNEC/NITA.
- Certificates awarded upon completion of requirements.
Code of Conduct
- Respectful behavior toward staff and peers is required.
- Abusive language or property damage is prohibited.
- Dress code applies for all practical sessions.
Health & Safety
- Strict hygiene protocols in labs.
- Protective gear must be used during practicals.
- First aid available on-site.

Fee Payment
- Fees payable in full or approved installments per term.
- Late payments may result in suspension or withheld certificates.
Use of Facilities
- Equipment and materials must be used responsibly.
- Learners liable for damages caused by negligence.
Grievance & Appeals
- Concerns raised through the Principal’s office.
- Appeals must be submitted within 7 days of results.
Community Engagement
- Students encouraged to join events, exhibitions, and internships.
- Career guidance provided for employment or entrepreneurship.
Dress Code Policy
Professional, safe, and industry-ready attire is expected for all students.
General Expectations
- Students must maintain neat, professional, and modest attire at all times.
- Closed shoes are mandatory within training facilities for safety reasons.
- Hair should be clean and neatly maintained.
Catering & Baking
- White chef’s coat/uniform with matching trousers or skirt.
- Apron and head covering (hat or scarf) are compulsory.
- No jewelry, nail polish, or loose accessories allowed during practicals.
Dressmaking
- Apron or protective coat required when handling machines or fabric.
- Comfortable clothing suitable for sewing and practical work.
- Flat, closed shoes to ensure safety while operating machines.
Hairdressing & Beauty
- Black or white professional attire (trousers or skirt with top/coat).
- Protective gloves and aprons during treatments and dye applications.
- No excessive jewelry or long nails allowed.
Home Care Training
- Comfortable, neat uniforms suitable for domestic tasks.
- Protective gloves when handling cleaning agents.
- Closed shoes mandatory for hygiene and safety.
Beadwork & Jewelry Design
- Casual but neat clothing is acceptable.
- Apron recommended to avoid damage from dyes, paints, or tools.
- Safety glasses required when working with sharp tools.
Special Needs Training
- Uniform should be comfortable and adaptable for diverse activities.
- Flat shoes required to ensure mobility and safety.
- Professional presentation is encouraged at all times.
Prohibited Attire
- Ripped jeans, miniskirts, or indecent clothing are not allowed.
- Slippers, sandals, or open shoes are prohibited in all training areas.
- Clothing with offensive graphics, slogans, or symbols is strictly banned.
